Tomas Bergstrand
Founding Partner
Tomas Bergstrand has been making investments since 2008 in search funds, search fund acquisitions, and select startup ventures in the United States, Europe, and South America. Previously, he held operational positions for the Swedish banking group SEB in Singapore and the United States. Currently, he serves as a board member of Subatomic Digital, Kantola Training Solutions, and Stoque Sluções Tecnológicas. He also serves as president of the board of trustees of Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, MA. Tomas holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bryant University and a Master’s degree in Finance from Columbia University.
Blake Macleod

Blake Macleod is a successful entrepreneur, investor, and Partner at Archipelago Capital Partners. As an entrepreneur who struggled for over a decade before finding success, Blake is passionate about helping other entrepreneurs in their entrepreneurial journey. He founded, operated, and eventually sold Waves Gear and Kawartha Outdoor, two direct-to-consumer e-commerce brands. Blake is on the board of ModuleMD and Subatomic Digital. Based in Boston, he holds a BA in Economics from DePauw University and an MBA from Babson FW Olin Graduate School of Business.
Alfonso Blohm

Alfonso Blohm is a serial Search Fund investor with 13 years of M&A deal experience. Alfonso made his first inroads into the search fund community in 2016 and has been dedicated to it ever since. In 2017 Alfonso joined Relay Investments as Senior VP and Member of the Investment Committee. Alfonso subsequently became an independent private investor in 2020.
Since 2016 Alfonso has been involved in 50+ search fund acquisitions, and 200+ post-LOI due diligence efforts have evaluated 400+ search funds, worked with 100+ search funds, and served on the board of 4 search fund-acquired companies. Alfonso currently serves on the board of Atlantic Duct Cleaning.
Prior to joining the Search Fund Community, Alfonso graduated from MIT Sloan (MBA ’17) and was a consultant at Bain & Co. Alfonso holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.
